🪲 LaporBug — Privacy Policy
Last updated: 3 September 2026
LaporBug is an internal bug-reporting tool. This policy describes what the LaporBug browser extension captures, when, and where it goes.
What the extension captures
While a page is open, the extension keeps a short rolling buffer (1–5 minutes, configurable) in the memory of that tab only:
- A visual recording of the page (DOM session replay)
- Console output (logs, warnings, errors)
- Network request metadata and, optionally, request/response bodies
- User interaction steps (clicks, typing, navigation)
- Technical environment (browser, OS, viewport, locale, connection type)
Password fields are always masked. An option can mask all typed input.
When data leaves your browser
Never automatically. Nothing is transmitted anywhere until the user explicitly clicks “Upload & copy link” or “Download report” in the extension popup. The rolling buffer is discarded when the tab closes.
Where uploaded reports go
Uploaded reports are sent only to this team's own server
(laporbug.site) and stored in the team's own database
(Supabase). Reports are accessible via unlisted, unguessable links. No data is
sold or shared with third parties, and there is no advertising or analytics of
any kind in the extension.
Data retention & deletion
Reports remain stored until deleted by the team administrator. To request deletion of a specific report, contact the administrator below with the report link.
